A patient’s experience begins when they arrive and are greeted with a welcoming smile and acknowledged by our Front Desk Representative. As the first point of contact, it’s important this person provides a pleasant experience for our patients from the start. Organization and multi-tasking skills are a must. Key roles include answering our phone lines, processing patient records, and filling & managing the appointments book.

Front Desk Representative Duties and Responsibilities

· Greet and acknowledge patients and visitors as they arrive

· Verify patient’s vision and medical insurances eligibility

· Call patients and schedule appointments

· Answer questions and address complaints while remaining perceptive & disciplined

· Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages

· Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them

· Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc.

· Check, sort and forward emails

· Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary while tracking expenses & costs

· Sort, prepare and update records and files

· Self-starter who can work without constant supervision and be part of a team

· front office experience preferred

· Excellent customer service oriented skills with a pleasant attentive demeanor

· Ability to adapt quickly, think swiftly and problem solve

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

· Thrives in a fast-paced environment

· Willing and eager to learn and grow responsibilities

· Reliable transportation, Dependability and punctuality

· Computer literacy and proficiency; (experience with OfficeMate a plus)

· Be an excellent gate keeper – discreet & confidential

· Must be comfortable multitasking

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
