A patient’s experience begins when they arrive and are greeted with a welcoming smile and acknowledged by our Front Desk Representative. As the first point of contact, it’s important this person provides a pleasant experience for our patients from the start. Organization and multi-tasking skills are a must. Key roles include answering our phone lines, processing patient records, and filling & managing the appointments book.

Front Desk Representative Duties and Responsibilities
Â· Greet and acknowledge patients and visitors as they arrive
Â· Verify patient’s vision and medical insurances eligibility
Â· Call patients and schedule appointments
Â· Answer questions and address complaints while remaining perceptive & disciplined
Â· Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages
Â· Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them
Â· Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc.
Â· Check, sort and forward emails
Â· Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary while tracking expenses & costs
Â· Sort, prepare and update records and files

Â· front office experience preferred

Â· Computer literacy and proficiency; (experience with OfficeMate a plus)
Â· Be an excellent gate keeper â discreet & confidential

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
